A space for contemplation / connection / collaboration.
Inspired by the friendship between Blue Grandma and her best friend, Louisa.
C^3 is an attempt to build an inclusive community across different frontiers, disciplines and cultures. It is a non-production residency that gives people the space to reflect, collaborate, and be inspired.
The residency is in honor of our grandmas. For the way in which an older generation of women can create the space for creativity and exploration. It is inspired by Blue Grandma who created pottery and Louisa, creative crochet. They helped create a community where art and craft, friendship and connection, curiousity and play were all woven together. In turn, we are creating a space where artists, journalists and creators can feel free to be for a moment, to research a project, to connect with others and themselves.
